Jan. 8th, 2019-Waltham, MA-Automec, Inc., Manufacturing leader in press brake controls and backgauging systems, took some time to get the team together to place a community donation for a local book drive. More than Words, a local nonprofit out of Boston and Waltham, MA, empowers young adults between the ages of 16 to 24 with business and taking charge. These young adults come from all types of backgrounds such as foster care, out of school, homeless, etc. and More than Words helps them get back to changing the course of their lives for the better. Automec has donated over 200 books to More Than Words in Waltham, which includes books such as children’s novels to college textbooks. Automec continues to give a hand in the community and local businesses as the company steps forth in its 50th year of business.
